Campaign concept
A headline and visual idea that works across a series, not just a single insertion.
Print, magazine & digital ad design
An ad gets a second or two to be noticed, at whatever size the publication sells. Gravitait Design builds campaign concepts and layouts for magazines, newspapers and digital placements: full pages, spreads and banner units, made to each publication’s specs and sized for every placement in the buy.
Magazine ads and spreads
The ads carry the look of Boone & Sons’ signature catalog into magazines, including Bethesda Magazine: black and gold, jewelry photography with space around it, and a restraint that signals fine jewelry before a word is read. The relationship has run for nearly twenty years, across full pages, spreads and holiday campaigns.

Campaigns for an elder-law firm and its arts nonprofit
Elville & Associates practices elder law, special-needs planning and estate planning. Its advertising has to feel warm and trustworthy without looking like every other law firm. The work spans magazine ads, web banners for the Elville Self-Direct education program, and print ads for the Elville Center for the Creative Arts, which brings music education to children.

Public-health awareness advertising
For a foundation focused on disease prevention, the ad had to make a national statistic personal. Children’s faces and a single number did the work, with the StopGerms.org call to action kept simple.

The things people ask before starting a project like this.
Yes. Once the main ad is approved we adapt it to every size in the buy, including print pages, fractional units and web banners, so the campaign looks the same everywhere.
No. We design the ads and deliver the files. You or your media rep book the space. If a campaign needs large-scale media buying, an agency may be the better fit, and we will say so.
The publication’s specs or insertion order, the closing date, your logo and any photography, and the one thing the ad must say.
Yes. Web banners and social ad units are designed alongside the print ads so the whole campaign matches.
Send the publications, sizes and first closing date. You will get a reply within one business day and a fixed quote after a short call.
